About My Work
I am a trauma-informed E-CYT200 Yoga Teacher, 2nd-degree Reiki Practitioner, and an Ordained Minister (so I could lovingly meet anyone who wished to be married). I’m currently deepening my practice through my 300-hour yoga training.
My passion is teaching to the whole individual. I honor all eight limbs of yoga and aim to move beyond the performative aspects often emphasized in Western yoga. My approach is gentle, empowering, and rooted in the belief that every person’s true teacher—their own guru—lives within them.
In addition to teaching yoga, I create hand-made Mala beads and offer free Mala meditations. I am also a tattoo and henna artist, with the long-term vision of weaving all of these sacred practices together under one unified offering.
Sobriety is also an integral part of my path. I am over five months sober and a passionate advocate for others walking the same journey. Through seasonal retreats, healing spaces, and community, I hope to remind others that:
- Healing is sacred, not shameful.
- Any time spent “quit” is time well spent.
- Lovin’ lets the love in.
Above all, I lead gently. My role is not to create dependence, but to empower others to stand fully in their own strength, wisdom, and light.
Namaste,
Resa
